"What’s Getting Nauti all about? Glad you asked! Believe it or not, it all started in the living room of our house in landlocked Lincoln, Nebraska. Yep, Lincoln. So how does a nautical brand come from a place so far from the ocean?
Simple—our passion for the water knows no boundaries. We might have had to drive 12 hours to the nearest beach, but that didn’t stop us from loving every minute of it.
We wanted to create designs that capture the spirit, beauty, and excitement of life on the water. Whether you're diving a reef, catching a wave, lounging on the sand, or reeling in a mahi mahi, our designs reflect our love for the water.
And the name Getting Nauti? It's a playful nod to all things water-related—boating, surfing, and everything in between. Technically, 'nautical' refers to sailors, ships, and navigation, but for us, it means anything that connects us to the water.
Plus, we like to keep things lighthearted and fun—just like we hope you do!"
